Exclamation General Information on Posting

Creating Hyperlinks:

Sometimes URL's appear without the HTML codes which designate a "Uniform Resource Locator". Without these codes you will always have to copy and paste into a browser. But that's not necessary.

These HTML codes usually are supplied automatically when you create a post containing "https" or "http", etc. I copied your links to my post and the codes appeared for me automatically. As you can see by hovering on the link below, it's "hot".

2007April15-AnswersTo7Accusations (Part 1 of 3)- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-lIbTiqWHY&t=299s

If you click "quote" below to the right, you can see the url and /url codes. Otherwise, the codes are interpreted and not displayed.

There's another way which really cleans up your URL's. I'll post that later. This little tutorial will be moved later to preserve your topic.

For more information see Hyperlinks with Names, this document appears in the FAQ section, known as BBCodes. Scroll down to "URL Hyperlinking."

I apologize if I'm telling you (or anyone else) something you already know.

Thanks for participating in the forum discussion.

Default Start a New Thread

From FAQ:

When you click on a forum's name, you are taken to the list of threads it contains. A thread is a conversation between members or guests. Each thread starts out as a single post and grows as more individual posts are added by different users. Threads can be rated (?) to show how useful or popular they are and may contain polls (?).

To start a new thread simply click on the 'new thread' button Post New Thread (you may need the right permissions to do this).

Default Re: General Information on Posting - word counter

Just a quick reminder about keeping your posts “short, quick, real and fresh.” :-)

I’ve suggested before that you aim for approximately 350-400 words, which immediately begs the question “you mean I have to count my words now???”. Well, you could do that, or you could copy/paste your text into the box on Word Counter. It counts automatically.

Try it!

Thanks—
Nell

Default Unregistered Guests

Welcome to all Unregistered Guests!

We've had a bunch of great posts lately from Unregistered Guests and we want to thank you all for stopping by and contributing to the discussions.

As always, as we welcome/request that as you continue to post, please register as a member. Why is this important? If everyone was "unregistered", the forum would be just a big blob of comments with guests seemingly talking to themselves...not a good look !

To Register For Forum Membership Please Send Email To: Reg4LCD@Gmail.Com
Be Sure To Include Your Desired Username!

One more thing, whether you observe holidays or not, we hope that you enjoy whatever time off you may have. My family and I have opted for a Mexican Food family dinner and I'm bringing the tamales! (Looking for a tamale emoji...!)

Please register and let us get to know you...anonymously of course!
