Excerpt number 1- Mistreatment by Samuel Liu and his Malignant Narcissism/Domineering
We knew something was wrong, the way he looses his temper, the way he mistreat the
middle-age trainees and the way he behaves with us and other saints was not a good
testimony or behavior for a leading one and trainer. But we continue again and again
because we wanted to be train to be useful vessels for the Lord and we didn’t want to
miss the opportunity the Lord had giving us.
We served with brother Samuel Liu for two years faithfully with no murmuring,
reasoning, but doing every thing that he asked us to do. But we brought everything to the
Lord again and again in prayer and petition. We thought that after we finish the training
his behavior and attitude hopefully was going to changed toward us and of the middle-
age trainees but it got worse. The way he talked to us, treated us, asked us to do things for
him, never we heard a thank you, can you please or I’m sorry, we never heard this words
from his mouth. Every thought that it came to his mind we did it for him in the
computer, but we never pleased him, he was never happy, always angry.

So a concern in my wife and I started to rise up in our being, we knew something was wrong with his person that the Lord was not happy with. But we did not know how to deal with or what to do. It got to the point that my wife and I start getting physically sick. Our spirit was quenched, the joy of the Lord was gone every time we worked with brother Samuel but we continue praying for him. Asking the Lord to guide us and lead us, what to do.

Sometimes we spend many hours of the day working with Samuel, sometimes 12hrs. or
15hrs. it was at this time that we saw how he has everything in his hands, he control
every aspect of the church, even the Lord’s table and every member, advertising Ontario
for saints of other localities to move here, always saying we have the way, criticizing
other localities especially the church in Diamond Bar saying “that the situation in
Diamond Bar is not right”, controlling every home meeting, every group meeting,
changing meeting after meeting, mistreating brothers and sisters, matching people to get
marry, loosing his temper in front of the saints in the church, on April 3rd Samuel argued
and lose his temper with the janitor of the Colony High School, the place that we rent in
front of many saints, burden and forcing the saints to open their homes to have home
meetings, also burden some low income families to cook every week to feed 10 to 15
people from the middle age.
This and many, many, many things went on for 2 years we served faithful with no
hesitation, but on April 3rd , 2005 led by the Lord I had fellowship with brother *****
***** and ***** ***, I opened my heart to them and I told them, “that the reason we
gave ourselves to served the Lord here in Ontario was primarily to take care of people in
the home meetings with children, young people and adults, and not to spend that much
time in the office doing clerical work but to take care of people, that was our burden.”
The Brothers felt very good, their fellowship was, Amen, for us to follow what the Lord
was putting in our hearts.

Excerpt Number 2-
Malignant Narcissism, Racism, Aporophobia (disgust of the poor)/Judas Syndrome (WO berates the poor Spanish speaking saints for not giving money just like Judas berated the poor woman for anointing Jesus with perfume instead of giving up her money).
After I confronted Samuel few times, SL became very angry with me, put his head down, and left to another group and did the same thing, moving brothers and sisters from meeting to meeting, he was interested in the statistics and numbers. SL let us all know that he was the chief in command, he like to control. Since, SL couldn’t control the Spanish speaking meeting, SL spoke to Anaheim, CA so they could send Walter Ortiz to help with the Spanish speaking saints. When WO came to Ontario, I share a little bid about SL, what was happening in Ontario, Walter said to me, “yes I know, this is why I’m here, I know SL since Toronto, Canada and I know he is like an animal, a beast and I’m here to be in your side and whatever problem that might be, “throw it up, throw it up” At the beginning I couldn’t understand WO when he said “throw it up” I thought that when we had a problem we just needed to throw it up to the air, but to my surprise, WO told us in a meeting, he said, “I’m the one that is up” he said you Mario you are under and I’m on top of you, you Mario could go and rebuke bro.

Shelby Pimentel, because you are in top of him and I, WO am top of you” In one of the meetings with the Spanish speaking, WO will call us animals, beasts, you are thieves, you are miserable because you don’t give your tithes and the 5% to the church, this is why you Spanish speaking are always poor, you live in misery. The saints after the meeting were so condemn and offended by the speaking of WO, that some of them did not wanted to come to the meetings no more. WO used rude words to treat the brothers and sisters with too much authority subduing the saints by his intimidated speaking. I spoke to WO, can you please tell me where did you get this teaching that you are on the top, and I’m in the bottom? WO, said to me, continue reading the ministry and you will find it, and I said where? He said, in the ministry of Witness Lee, continue reading and you will find it. At this juncture we, my wife and I, still have many homes in which we were taking care, the 80% of the church in Ontario is Spanish so we were busy every day. Little by little we start noticing that WO was going to the homes of the saints and start speaking against us. The brothers and sisters from the home meetings, start calling us, saying what happen, something is going on in the church in Ontario. It was WO that was going from house to house and telling the saints negative things against us. WO, told the saints not to received us in their homes, because we were negatives, he intimidate the saints, putting fear on them.

So, they start closing their homes to us, this is new people we are talking about. All the homes meetings were close to us. 12 I (Mario) had to confront WO, he did all this without fellowship, with out letting us know nothing what he was doing in each home, I became angry to see all this that WO was doing behind my back. WO was doing a division among the brothers and sisters, Oh, what a lack of wisdom! When I confronted WO I said, “Tu no eres hombre” meaning, you are not a man, to speak with me, and tell me, what you were going to do, you did everything behind my back, I know you for so many years and you don’t have the courage to speak face to face with me, but you came to Ontario California, like “Superman” changing everything, now I understand what you told me that “You were up”. I told him come down, to the earth. Who do you think you are, you been damage by the position they gave you to work in the radio in the LSM, you think you are someone special, higher than others. Did SL convince you to do this against us? WO, I’m speaking to your conscious to see if still works, Walter, I really feel sorry for you, where you have falling, may the Lord have mercy on you and all the saints you are damaging with the poison you have infused them. After I talked to WO, he started speaking negatively about us in all the churches. Next letter we will let you know what happen.

Excerpt Number 3, Barabbas Syndrome- Mario and Dora Sandoval are quarantined in a very unjustifiable and historical fashion. Mario and Dora are one of the many innocent individuals throughout the history of the LR who were thrown under the bus for ungodly and unjustified men. Do not worry Mario and Dora, our Lord Jesus Christ was forsaken, and the life of a murderer was chosen over him. So, the lord fully understood what you went through.
I like to call this consistent behavior of the LR- Barabbas syndrome (named after the murderer freed by the crowd who demanded the death of Jesus).

The following Lord’s Day we went to meet with the saints in Temecula, Ca. They had a love feast from different localities, and we were able to meet with lots of saints. Our brother Chris Nersted from the church in Vista, Ca was there we had a wonderful fellowship with him, since we know him for about 27years and he was very happy to see 13 us. Chris invited us to his son’s wedding that was going to be in his house, and that later he was going to mail the invitation, also he suggested to us why we don’t move to the church in Vista because we are so few and we need more Spanish speaking saints, brother Chris mention that to us. We told him we were going to pray to the Lord and see if he opens the doors.

Three days later we received the wedding invitation, we were so happy because once again we would have an opportunity to be with the saints. To our big surprise, the following Saturday at 10:00pm, we received a phone call from our brother Chris Nersted and he told me, “Brother Mario, please don’t come to my son’s wedding in my house, don’t come to the meetings of the church in Vista, and don’t move to live in the city of Vista, Ca. I was so shock, and I said, “Bro. Chris, what happen” Then Chris said, “Bro. James Lee had fellowship with me and told me not to receive you in the meetings of the church in Vista and I Chris respect the fellowship that comes from James Lee” Then I said, “You know me for about 27yrs, and because somebody says something against me you are not going to talked to me no more, I’m a member of the body too.” Chris was nervous when he was talking he wanted to finish his conversation with me, he said again I don’t want you to come to my house, to the wedding, to the church meetings and don’t move to the city of Vista.

Then I said, not even to the city of Vista, that is too much brother, ok good night. The following week, Jorge Lara from the church in Chula Vista, called at 10:30pm to tell me, please don’t come to the meetings in the church in Chula Vista, CA, then I said to him, “Why? And Jorge said, “don’t take it personal is not something from me, but they called me from Anaheim, Ca and told me not to received you in the meetings of the church in Chula Vista” Then I said, “Brother Jorge, I thought that you believed in the manuscripts of brother W Nee, “the administration is local in each city” He said again, “don’t take it personal, they called me from Anaheim, CA and told me not to received you” Then Jorge wanted me to cancel the meeting that I was going to have in my house, here in Corona, CA the next day, where my mother, my two sisters and brothers and sisters were coming for lunch from San Diego, CA.

Then I said, “Jorge, is one thing not for me to go to the meetings in Chula Vista, because someone order you from Anaheim, Ca. but, is another thing that you wanted me to cancel the lunch that I’m having for brother and sisters in my own house, you are going too far.” These were the last two churches we were trying to meet with the saints but we couldn’t because they had received orders from Anaheim, CA not to receive us. We had written that letter to the co-workers and they never answer to us instead they are talking to the local churches giving them orders not to received us in their meetings. Until this moment we don’t know why? All the blame that Samuel Liu and Walter Ortiz did they twisted and blamed on us, we are the bad ones, we are the trouble ones, we are divisive ones, the poison ones etc. etc. The next letter we will share with all of you, from the beginning when we were in the church in San Diego, CA for about 20 years where Les Cites, exercise “deputy authority to the max”.

This is a horrific account of the fruit of “the ministry”. And they call THIS the "Lord’s Recovery"? This is not what the Lord is “recovering”. We shouldn't blame this stuff on Him. This is demonic.

What is the status of this situation today? Are SL and WO still “in charge”? How are the Sandovals?

According to my research, Samuel Liu is still in charge of Ontario. I don't know the Sandoval's personally but I think they emailed Steve Isitt their testimony so you could ask S.I on an update of the Sandoval's. As for this behavior and how it is covered/protected in the LR, it is clearly the devil’s playground. For years throughout the recovery, just looking at the major turmoil’s. Genuine Christians were purged, exiled, and vilified. In my opinion, the comment on this forum regarding the "enemy hijacking the LR" is quite true. When J.I gets vilified and P.L is exalted and when Samuel LI is protected and Mario is quarantined/ostracized, it really begs the question on who is pulling the strings hear. I think the lord has been absent from this group for a long time. The bible makes it clear the lord will not hear the prayers of the wicked. They babble/chant thinking they will be heard for their much speaking, but the lord is just ignoring it.

The LR from what I have personally seen and from different testimonies of others, has a spirit of fear embedded inside of them. The bible is clear the spirit of fear is not from Christ, and the enemy is clearly pulling the strings of this fearful spirit. I think that is why people like Mario are constantly being purged relentlessly from the LR. So, who are the people remaining in the LR after all this purging? The only people left are puppets whose strings are pulled very tightly or people who are resisting the pulling of strings and are too fearful to cut them off. The LR is the devil’s playground and the kids that rule the playground are for the most part people Samuel Liu and the blendeds. Every other kid just bows down in fear and submission to tyranny. The bible is also very clear people like Samuel Liu are not qualified to be an overseer. Yet the LR could care less about the bible and just want someone who will be a great puppet whose strings can be pulled effortlessly.

The LR ignoring the bible is basically what people have described on this forum as "being hijacked by the enemy". When the commandments of men supersede the commandments of God, you see what happens. The LR has a spirit of fear dominating over them, the spirit of fear as told very clearly in the bible, is not from Christ. The LR is fearful about everything in their daily lives. This whole group is just extreme fear and various extreme insecurities, they do not have the armor of God nor his blessings due to their practices.

Also, when Mario tried to tell Samuel Liu "The church does not belong to you it belongs to the saints", It just made me realize on how many people possibly was lured into this group by deception. The Local churches belong to LSM and LSM picks and chooses who they best believe represent their self-interest that is absent of the lords will/doing. I am not sure of Mario background, but I would suspect the reason they refused to initially give Mario and his wife a full-time opportunity probably because LSM did not see the "Lee/LSM traits" being strong enough inside of them. Samuel Liu is a much more ideal person in the eyes of LSM then a person like Mario. Again, I say, men of God are purged in this group and Leeites are meant to be the only ones standing. The local churches belong to LSM, the regional turmoil’s made this very clear that Christ is not the head of this group. Allegiance, consumption, and submission to a false and malevolent doctrine is what hold this group together and its bad fruits really does showcase this.

This testimony was a great read and it showed again and again how many people in the LR are treated and forsaken in the most horrible ways. Anaheim again shows how the devil runs deep at the core of this hijacked organization.

I am so sorry for the way Mario and Dora were treated in particular by the brethren in San Diego and Vista. I knew Chris Nerstad and his wife very well. I knew Les Cites and his wife very well as well. They nurtured and mentored me when I first got saved in 1975. I was in the San Diego LC from 1975 - 1978/79.

I don’t know when Mario and Dora “touched” San Diego LC. I don’t remember them. I know like everyone here on the forum that are ex LCrs, “The Lord’s recovery” has made WL and to a lesser extent their god. They may still call on the Lord but it is vain repetition.

Another observation I have made, Les and Carolyn’s kids who are all adults were not in the LC when I last had contact with them in 2005. Chris Nerstad’s kids were teenagers in 2005 and the older son was going into the service, the other was getting ready for college. Their daughter was in high school but none of the kids had no interest in the LC. Do they now? I do not know. I heard the Nerstads moved to England a few years back for the LR.

I met another leading elder and his wife in my home town. They were elderly. Don’t even know if they are still alive but none of their adult kids had nothing to do with the LR or their parents.

This is so sad.

May the LORD heal Mario and Dora and shower them with His Love and Grace.

I met their son in our locality. He hung out with a couple other church brats who themselves question the cow, but are forced to live with their parents because they aren't qualified for any decent jobs. And they're not young!

When these letters were first made available, I wrote to Samuel, Walter, James Lee, and Ron Kangas to ask them what they were doing either in their behavior or allowing this to continue on. No responses It seems that Moon's explanation goes a long way to help the reader understand a truly "horrific" testimony as Nell pointed out in a word. / Walter Ortiz has passed away.
