Witness Lee Bible Is Getting Banned In Russia.

Russian court banning Witness Lee Bible version, because of its “extremist” footnotes.

“Some days ago a court in Moscow, Russia, ruled that
the footnotes of the Recovery Version by Brother
Witness Lee are "extremist" and therefore to be banned
in Russia. The publication of this ruling is due Monday,
March 17, 2025, and afterward the brothers have thirty
days to appeal. The obvious target of the enemy is the
publication work in Russia (BBD) and the Lord's move
in the Russian-speaking world. The brothers in BBD are
seeking the prayers of the saints during these critical
days while this suit makes its way through the Russian
court system.”

It’s NOT the place that I expected will be looking into the Witness Lee movement, but I guess there aren’t enough people in this country who are willing to say the obvious:
“Witness Lee and his ideas are obviously extremist, and those who have been under their influence know it very well! I hate that it’s a court or legal systems that are stepping in, and not other Christians who need to handle this kind of work.”

I heard from a Russian individual that LC sued Russian authorities for obstructing the import or export of Recovery Version Bibles, which I believe took place between 2022 and 2023. Possibly frustrated by these actions, the Russian authorities may have responded by suing LC and declaring them extremist.
