I think I have to spell it out for you. The vaginal stethoscope can only be used to hear a child’s heartbeat in the womb at about five months. Thats modern technology right now, unless you can find me a better stethoscope. Thus, an ultrasound is needed to see the child’s heartbeat at any time earlier than five months gestation.
