When I listen to too much news or talk radio, I'm reminded of the verse, "Surely are they disquieted in vain!" Psalm 39:6
It's been said 6 companies control 90% of the news outlets. If there's truth to it or not, I don't know. I cannot watch Fox, CNN, MSNBC. I consider myself a Libertarian Conservative yet my dad is even more conservative than I at 77. Not being able to do carpenter work any more it's much of the same. Typically my visits are during the summer. Baseball games are the preferred programming.
That's been our bonding since my childhood. Baseball was a way to disengage from pressures of life for a few hours. It was one of the few things we did together. Neither of us are much for crowds, but for a baseball game we didn't mind.
