Ya know, what comes to me now as one of the best things to come out of TLR was the way of meeting. The meetings (back in the day - 1960s & 70s) were very open and living, giving everyone the opportunity to function and testify of Christ operating in their lives! Now, much of that has been lost. There is a form of the open meeting format still, but the agenda is really preset in stone (at least what I've been exposed to and heard about). Think I'll start another thread about that.
Do you remember when we used to hand out “Jesus is Lord” cards...like a business card? The cards had the address of the meeting hall on the back, etc. I guess since Jesus isn’t the Lord in the Local Church anymore, they had to stop handing out the cards.

No, I don't remember that. But I was first in Berkeley 1974, and admittedly was in and out over the next few years. Was that a southern Cal (Eldon Hall) practice?
