This is why I said elsewhere that at this stage of my life I'd trade a whole LSM library for a copy of
The Practice of the Presence of God, by Brother Lawrence.
I've changed some since I started this thread. Although I suspect there is
some validity to the Trinity model I shared, the bottom line is the Bible doesn't seek to make us clear about it, so it's just speculation. In some way God is three, in some way the three are one, one God. God doesn't seem to care, at this point, that we understand how that is. Nor do I think he cares that we know how he stopped the Jordan. He can do it and did it because he's God. That's all we really need to know.
I started the thread to suggest an alternative to Lee's "progressive God" model, and to suggest how we may be more in the image of the Trinity than we thought. But apart from that, the subject is pretty useless. It certainly hasn't proven to mean much to my daily walk.
