For those who are in charge of the flock, or are teaching it, the stakes are high. And the price is high. We can argue that God indicated that he will deal with them all in the end (the whole bit about wood, hay, and stubble) But he also gave us instructions (through Paul and John — if not others) to not tolerate bad teaching. That means you have to tell them to go away (as teachers). These references do not seem to indicate that you cannot fellowship with them (unless they are not actually Christian). But you don't have to tolerate them as teachers.
