The most popular one is the LCS factors..

Go the the very top of any page....there you will see the overall order, by way of levels, in the following order: Forum (clicking this takes you to the main page containing all sub-forums which function as boards) The next level deeper, in this case, is Spiritual Abuse Titles (clicking this takes you to the sub-forum or board so named) The next level shown would be the very thread in which we are now posting, in this case, Interesting Quotations from Catholic History, which is simply a thread among many within the "Spiritual Abuse Titles" board.

Some confusion has arisen among some of us longtime BARM members. What we had on the BARM was actually a "sub-forum" or "board" within the larger Forum known as "The Public Square". Here we have an entire vBulletin forum to our little ole selves. This actually gives us much more flexibility to create, maintain and moderate the structure of the forum community.

What we knew as threads on the BARM we now know as boards (which in turn contain many threads within). If you are on the main page of the forum, and you look to the far right of any board, let's say Spiritual Abuse Titles for example, you will see a clickable link to the last post on that board. (this post could be in any one of the numerous threads within that board)

Ok, any questions...now I'm confused

This is a general question --- how does one insert a link of a another post into a reply to a thread???

First, you have to get permission from the pope.

Just kidding.

1. In your browser, pull up the thread/post/page you want to link to.
2. Highlight the whole URL (the address) of the post that is in the field at top of your browser.
3. Right click the highlighted field and click "Copy."
4. Go to the new post you want place the link in.
5. Either: (Simple) Directly paste the link where you want it.
6. Or: (Advanced) Type something you want to be link text, such as "Click here." Highlight the text. Click the link icon on the editor toolbar (it's the icon that looks like the Earth with a chain link), this will pop up a window into which you should past the link address you copied in step 3. Click OK. You're done.
7. (Optional) One last thing I usually do is make the link text bright blue and underlined, that way it looks like a link.
8. Click "Preview Post" and test the link. If it works, click "Submit Reply." If not, fix it.
