RecV footnotes show us WL's interpretations, some of which are questionable at best.
Scripture says, "All have sinned and fallen short", and the NT writers quoted this. But the NT writer didn't expect us to include Jesus Christ in the "all are sinners" metric, did they? Yet that is just what WL suggests when he rejects the prophetic utterance in the Psalms, writing that since the psalmist was a sinner, the words are vain. Now, I would question such logic as ignoring Christ while the NT authors encourage us to fix our minds and hearts on Him.
