The point here is not to comment on that situation specifically, but to observe how un-attentive to the needs of the "uncomely members" that the LCM displays. They are all about the multi-talented ones, plus those who have the wherewithal to finance their endeavors. The rest can be called "marginal" privately. I have seen some devout members leave as well. In many such cases there was no effort to retain such persons. At the time, I couldn't believe that they would just let people go so easily, but they did. In retrospect, it was for the better, but all the same, it just goes to show that they have no clue about how to really care for people and their needs.
