To each their own, but I am tired of hearing shaming warnings about not reading the Bible "enough." I am not against reading of the Bible, and don't regret having read the Bible enough to be dangerous, but shaming people about it in dire tones is too much. Tell me, instead, the joy and freedom you've received by reading the Bible -- not how terrible it is not to do it.

I read the Bible a lot for over 30 years, yet my life was still unfulfilled. Go ahead and assume that I read it "wrong" or not prayerfully "enough."

People can live a full, productive life with a minimal amount of Bible knowledge. So, instead of dark tones, tell me the joys and benefits of Bible reading (and don't just rephrase stark warnings as positives lol).

I'm with you! Shoulda, Woulda, &- Coulda . . . those are all in the realm of rules and are not very related to the freedom and joy of the Spirit of Christ! Don't "should" on the brothers. (which actually sounds like a rule too . . .
