Witness Lee writes: “From being God He became a man, and from being a man He became the Spirit.”

I John 4:2 from The New Testament: An Expanded Version by K.S. Wuest states

“Every spirit who agrees [to the doctrinal statement] that Jesus Christ has come in the sphere of the flesh [i.e., incarnation] and still remains incarnate [in human form] is of God….and every spirit that does not confess this…is not of God.”

An article from the Desiring God website states that Jesus Christ remains human even in heaven.

So, is this teaching by Witness Lee in error even though he does not explicitly state that Jesus is no longer incarnate? I’m thinking his teaching is very close to being heretical. Does WL have any teaching explicitly stating that Jesus is still human, or that Jesus became a spirit and no longer a human being?

He probably does have teachings explicitly stating that Jesus is still human. I say that, though, just because I have many memories of singing "There's a man in the glory, whose life is for me" with gusto in many meetings in the LC and no one had a problem with the lyrics of the song. I don't know off the top of my head where to find an explicit teaching though.
