The Problem of Good - POG

I'm prolly the biggest muckraker of God on the POE thread. And the thread has gone on and on, about the mystery of why God would do or allow evil.

But what about the problem of good? Why is there good? Of course we tend to say, 'because God loves us.' And true, there seems to be an agent of love behind it.

Just consider all the good there is. This thread would be 10x longer than the POE thread if we listed all of it, likely even hundreds of times longer.

The scientist -- oh those scientists again -- of course it's in dispute, but scientists will tell you it's because of extropy. That, yes, there's entropy, but there's more extropy than entropy or there wouldn't be anything.

But it begs the question : why is there more extropy than entropy? Is there an intelligent agent behind it?

And is there an intelligent agent behind all the good? If so, why? Why would an intelligent agent do all this? What's the purpose? Why is there good?

lol ... Haven't you found that behind every good there's some kind of bad?
Just about everything that's really good is bad ; candy, and all the good tastin' stuff, for examples. Noah new both the good and the bad of wine.

But maybe I wasn't clear : The POE is an unsolvable mystery, and so is the POG.

Why does God do both?

Witness Lee offered an answer, called God's Eternal Purpose : God's Economy -- for the purpose of expressing Himself thru His creatures -- God's shing building on a hill. But there's bad behind that good. It's called hell.

Witness Lee was another good gone bad. Watch out for the good. It could be a hook with hair around it.

There is no "problem of good". Categorically, problem is not in the set of all good things. A problem is not an existing entity. It is a way of categorizing things or more precisely, situations which would be unnecessary if evil did not exist. Extropy has no more value than entropy except relative to an existing subject.

Yes, I know that. Lee has taught that inside every person is both God and Satan. The religious Christian hypocrites go crazy when you tell them that Satan is inside them. In fact their negative reactions often confirm the truth of the statement. Actually telling people they have an intimate relationship with the devil is how Christ used to deal with the Pharisees, which invoked murderous responses in them, ultimately leading to his crucifixion.

So looky here. The POE thread went on and on, but the POG thread goes nowhere. I guess that's cuz we don't think there's a problem with good. We like good.

But just as bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people. So good perpetuates bad, or evil. That's some kind of problem with good.
