The doppler effect and realizing that the entire universe was expanding, being stretched out like a curtain, was the observation that led to the theory of the Big Bang.

Isn't that the fabric of space/time. But where's E=MC² in the Bible?

E=MC² means that energy = mass. C is simply a constant that converts grams of mass to units of energy.

Energy can be expressed in many ways. Heat is energy. Temperature is defined as the average kinetic energy of the atoms.

I recently saw a 60 minutes episode talking about Texas and showing Houston. I was stunned by the transformation from when I was there. It was as though a miracle had taken place, but in reality that "miracle" is simply the sum total of all the energy expelled in that city since 1980.

The Bible says God is a miracle working God.

Ultimately, the Big Bang theory says that energy is the beginning and end of the Universe.

The Bible says Jesus is the "alpha and omega, the creator of all things, the one who called not being as being.

You forgot about The Logos, which everyone back then commonly thought of as the creative sustaining force of the Cosmos.

But still, with all that, they never figured out E=MC². It took science to figure it out thousands of years later.

According to Proverbs it is the glory of God to hide a matter and the glory of kings to search it out. For example, in Genesis God says that Abel's blood cries out. Today, we have discovered DNA, blood splatter, and many other techniques so that the blood of a murder victim cries out to us as well.

OMG !!! I was just thinking this before opening this up. I was thinking hidden things have much attraction to them. Same with forbidden things.

That's one of the lessons the garden creation account must be teaching us. It was prolly observed and learned from watching human behavior for possibly hundreds of thousands of years.

The story basically tells us that from the very beginning humans go for the hidden and forbidden.

And to think that, God didn't know this. Or it skipped His mind, until He caught it. Then He was pissed. And not forgiving at all. Forget 490 times, like Jesus taught, much much much later.

And to think He made them in His image. That image must have been flawed ... or incomplete in some way, surely.

Creating a universe that appears to have been expanding for billions of years, for example.

If so, then why the deception?
