"The key to following leadership is to base it on scripture."

That's why the LSM/LC goes for the young college students. They don't know scripture. Most young people don't, and can therefore be caught by dynamic personality cult leaders.

And once invested, learning scripture is interpreted by the cult, and is too late. When the mind is captured, even after leaving, it's still infected.

That's why it takes years to get it out, and phases to work thru it, until we get free of it enough to fully think for our self.
