Bro Paul Cox (and family): we share your loss. Whenever one member suffers, we all suffer. May God fill your lives with peace, and grace, and even joy. God bless you all.

Paul Cox once wrote this to me, and I think it's OK to share ...
Quote:
For some reason the Lord keeps taking all these wonderful young people. People were crazy about Bobby too. Everybody was fond of him at the Summer Truth Schools. Many of those brothers and sister who had taught him cried like babies when they learned of his passing. There were over 400 people at his funeral, Local Church and non-Local Church. It was then that we began to grasp what an impact he had on so many people's lives. Many of them had watched the last 15 months of his life, and marveled at the resurrection life, to the very end. His basketball coaches were weeping uncontrollably.

We have his cremains in his bedroom with pictures all around. Many of his young friends, including his girlfriend, often come by to remember him.

Paul,
Either my memory fails me or I had not yet joined the forum and was not aware your son went to be with Lord. In any case, we know very well God's Ways are not our ways. For whatever reason, God summoned Bobby to join the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on to keep running the race with endurance as we approach the finish line. Surely you can rejoice in knowing Bobby has been rewarded with the Crown of Life, the Crown of Glory, the incorruptible Crown, & the Crown of Rejoicing as well as a Jeweled Crown of LOVE.

What a testimony he left for all who knew him. He obviously made an eternal impact on all who knew him, all he met and all who saw him

May the SPIRIT of Peace comfort you, your family, and your loved ones as only our Great Comforter, Jesus can.

Blessings and hugs,

Carol Garza
