"Flashcards for Spiritual Terminology in German"

Dear Saints,

For those of you who will be visiting Germany or are considering or planning to emigrate there, we felt it would be good for you to have a way to learn some specific German terms used in the ministry. Although many of you are learning German, you will most likely not learn the specific ministry terminology in a general German class. The tool we have created should also be useful for those who already know German and would like to be able to translate German in the meetings or shepherd German new ones.

We have prepared a set of online flashcards with over 350 terms frequently used in the Lord’s recovery. They are arranged in groups of ten so that you can study ten a day, or ten a week, or as your schedule allows. The earlier groups contain words and phrases that are easy and fairly common. The groups progress in difficulty as you go on. You can access the flashcards from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Your progress can also be saved in the app if you are logged in, and registering for an account is free.

Please note that this will NOT teach you to speak German; it will only teach you the specific German ministry terms used in the Lord’s recovery.

The app and online site are from cram.com. You can visit cram.com on your browser or download the app from your app store. Once there, search for wiedererlangung, which is the German word for “recovery.” In the list of results, the sets marked “EN” are for English-German learning. Start with EN 1.
Suggestions for learning:

1. Using Standard mode: There are two modes for learning. The standard mode shows you the German word or phrase, and the terms can also be read aloud to you. Try repeating what it says several times. Then flip the card to learn what it means.
2. Using Cram Learning mode: There is also a cram learning mode. Once you get a card correct, the card will progress to the next level. Once a card has progressed to Level 5, the word or phrase is considered learned.
3. German to English, then English to German: The cards are arranged with German on the front and English on the back. This is the easiest way to start. Once you know all the cards in a set from German to English, view the back of the cards first to learn how to go from English to German. This will solidify your knowledge of the words.
4. Notes on nouns: In German, nouns are always capitalized. You must learn the article (der, die, or das) when you learn the noun. Do not let yourself mark a card right if you got the article wrong.
5. Notes on verbs: The verb flashcards contain three verb forms in parentheses. If you are a beginner, you may want to ignore these. You can return to them when you are more advanced. (For those who want to learn the verb forms, these forms are (a) the third person singular present tense, (b) the third person singular past tense, and (c) the past participle for use with the present perfect and past perfect tenses.)
6. Test yourself: Once you know the cards in a set, you can test yourself. It is good to shuffle the cards when testing.
7. Games: There are also two games that may be played with the cards.
8. Review previous sets: It may be good to periodically review previous sets so you don't forget the words.

"specific ministry terminology", like 'saints' equating to 'those who meet exclusively under the LSM banner'?

Here one sees 350 specific, in-group phrases which only derive meaning within the proprietary ideational constructs. The Bible itself is merely a set piece, a prop for the Enlightened One's revelations, given through specific ministry terminology. And where the Bible can't be used, it's called 'fallen human concepts'. How do you say that in German, anyway?

Perhaps as a public service we could offer a glossary of special ministry terms. For example, 'saints in the recovery' could properly be translated as 'christians come under a spirit of bondage and oppression'.

'In the fellowship' means 'whatever Maximum Brother wants'.

'The latest up-to-date speaking' means 'whatever recently got published'.

And 'the church life' means everything under the aegis of Anaheim's purview.

Instead of salvation we get 'processed'.

The Anaheims struggle to introduce bogus terminologies to cover up their lack of spiritual reality.

Fairly accurate.
Especially "In the fellowship". Suppose Maximum brother tells/suggests brother X shouldn't be received. A certain locality decides we don't have a problem with brother X. Maximum brother says this certain locality isn't taking my fellowship.
Since when does fellowship require compliance?

We need to warn people in English, Dutch, French and German: the spirit operating behind this ministry is a spirit of error and deception, seeking to spy out our liberty in Christ Jesus and put it in chains.

How many hundreds of meetings did Witness Lee preside over, with hundreds and even thousands of attendees? And, how many corrections and judgments did we watch him dole out? Yet who even once saw a word of correction successfully head his way? So what kind of spirit is then being manifest?

One can only conclude that either the man Witness Lee was never wrong whist everyone else continually was, or he, and we, were under the thrall of a powerful deception. Acting God' and 'God's Oracle' were special ministry terms for the person under a monomaniacal delusion.
