I agree that we passively sat under curses and absorbed dark energy, sat there mutely while "Christianity" (everyone else) was called every dark name and subject to every dark insinuation. Because we took it, and didn't reject it, we came under the influence and control of darkness.

If you read Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, the "sisters" were at the forefront of "recovery" for decades. But once power was assured, they were "sent back down where they belong." The two-facedness of group leadership is so glaring. Don't know why this isn't obvious to all, unless they're either brain-dead or too cowed to speak up. The disconnect in this group is astonishing.
(And yes, I had self-esteem and identity issues, wanted to "belong" somewhere and was love-bombed off the college campus.)

At first he would not give his permission, but on further entreaty, he agreed forthem to be present on the condition that they would sit a distance away from him in another section of his spacious living room. Only Peace Wang (Wang Peizhen), Rachel Lee (Li Lajie), and I sat together with him for fellowship.

(From Steve Isitt's "Our Need to Examine Ourselves) The good news is some of the sisters are tired of the blatant hypocrisy and repression and have started to speak up. Have you seen the Jo Casteel FB page? It's gotten a lot of notice.
