Kind of like how the Darby Exclusive Brethren blotted out Benjamin Newton, George Muller, and others who rejected their domination. A word to the wise. No history coming out of LSM has ever been anything but self-serving historical revisionism.

Maybe that is why it called "a brief history" rather than a "comprehensive" or "complete" or "accurate" history.

The funniest thing is how this document cites Lee and only Lee so heavily on each page ("then as Brother Lee points out"), as if he was the only person to cover the history of the Reformation. As a church kid, I was so surprised visiting Amish, Moravian, etc communities and finding that their recountings were pretty much identical to the ones I had heard attributed merely to the insights of the great Lee. Until the 20th century, which belongs exclusively to Nee and Lee, of course. Actually, the bias in this history is not funny, it's repulsive.

Spain appears twice in the Bible, and it is something unique, special, and impressive. Certainly, the sincere and faithful brothers of Spanish origin who were of Jesus paid the ultimate price to initially bring the gospel to America in general, and this bore fruit through the Catholic ministry, which was the catalyst for the gospel to later spread in a unique way throughout Latin America through Protestant ministries. The Lord does not forget Spain. Thank the Lord, the recovery movement did not prosper in this nation because He was protecting the Spanish from such a harmful and abusive Christian movement.
The Lord has not forgotten Spain. Clearly, the Lord is judging Spain for its apostasy, but it is also an opportunity for those He has prepared for His edification in the end times to rise up boldly and give their lives for love of Him and His chosen ones in this nation. The move of the Lord will once again be crucial in Spain with respect to Europe in the end times. And this is why I invite you to include Spain in your prayers and intercessions so that the saints may consecrate themselves without reserve and heed the call to ministry and use the talents and resources that have been given to them to the fullest extent... |
