Be mature[of full age]

I was delighted to read in the Bible today some verses in Hebrews chapter 5. Here the Lord tells the believers that thay are like babes and have to be fed milk. What is the solid food then? I had for a long time supposed that the solid food was digesting and learning the ministry in a non critical way. Not so! Verse 14 tells us that solid food belongs to those who are mature or of full age. Who are they? Ones who have excercised their senses to discern both good and evil. Just imagine- independant thought and the testing of doctrines among other things, is a sign of maturity and having solid food

Discerning is a GIFT. ASK God for this gift and YOU Shall RECEIVE, as Solomon did !!

And the speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.

11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. ( 1 Kings 3:10-12 )
