Former LC members vs former JW ?

Hello, there!

To be honest, JW was only example. It can be any other.
My main point or question rather is, why (!?) (except this forum and only rational channel from Cal) I can not find any testimony on YT of former LC?
There are thousands harmed people!
This is phenomenon! Former JW members ( mostly regenerated and saved by Christ) have no problem to share experiences and warning others.
Why nobody shows his face on YT?
There was one good channel just showing several minutes of messages of Ron or Minoru without comment. There was no need at all. But it is not abut.
That was good but LSM sued them and pushed to remove due to ARR.
But there is always place for private testimony without quoting any ministry.
There are few immature guys who share with hate giving partial picture of cult.


What do You think about this ?
Why cult of JW is so obvious but LC not?
I heard argument about numbers that in compare to RCC they are small.
But if we love saint especially young people, we should regret them and pray.
I do not know what to think about it.

I don't have a thoughtful answer just yet, but in case it helps anyone, I found this video a while back of a "former elder" ex-JW (still a young guy) very helpful. Verrrrrrry similar to the LC.

I appreciated his calm, sober approach. (Different from the "immature guys who share with hate" about the LC that I have also seen.)

Calm, reasonable.....to the point of just a little boring, but listenable if you speed it up a little bit. Intersperses actual JW clips with his responses. ALSO INCREDIBLE THE PARALLELS TO THE LC. Around 9:40 the JW David Splane talks about "two things Satan uses to destroy our faith - apostasy and negative reports about the Jehovah's Witnesses in the media". Then around 10:45 he says "at times we receive report from brothers and sisters who were troubled by something they saw on a web page - an accusation, a rumor about the society or about the organization, and the problem is, they had no idea that apostates were behind it."

The JW's have "those wascally apostates". The LC has "men of death" and "poisoned ones who have touched death".

Sigh.....the blended brothers should get together with the JW version - "the governing body" - and form a mega-cult. The characteristics are all there.

Robert, some of the problem may simply have to do with the fact that many people who leave still have family members in the LC. They don't want to cause a rift in their family.....they don't want to put their family through pain. This doesn't explain the plethora of JW videos and the lack of LC ones, however. In some cases, former LC members may recognize there is a very real, deep battle involved in speaking up about something like this, and not everyone is equipped to handle it.

I don't see a whole lot of opposing commentary on anti-JW videos. But with the LC, you will end up getting into very, very tangled back-and-forths. I think there are a lot of layers to the lack of speaking up about the LC.

At, some point You are right here. Especially, that after JW member is leaving community, rest of family are totally against and separate themselves. So they have nothing to loose.
In case of LC, we have still family members there ( like me). but still living together..
Thanks for links. There is similarity, but You see how difficult is to find exactly what we want?
