Blame it on Satan
Quote:
Hi all, I think I might be out of thread topic here, but this whole idea of the Recovery to blame everything on satan, is purely laughable. I long ago realized that the people who use this technique of “satan made me do it” or “satan attacked me”, just plainly and bluntly state that “nothing in life is a result of my own making, choosing, and planted seeds”. Satan is a scapegoat for all of their failures that they won’t ever admit to. It’s also very interesting when they are dealing with the issues of this kind, that are most likely are products of their own, they will say that it’s “a trial and tribulation, or just satan is after them”. But if it would happen to you or I, or everyone that left the movement or even dared to say something about them, “it’s God punishment for the evil they’ve done against Gods move on earth”. Maybe both of those man in this tread should look in the mirror more often, and I don’t mean physically or maybe both. The other thing that made me chuckle, was when the guy had to add this comment in and said, “when Ron says he is resting in the Lord, Ron is resting in the lord it’s a reality to him”. As if Ron has some special buddy status unlike any of us regular joes can enjoy. He had to go out of the way to point that out. You just have to laugh sometimes at the way these men think of themselves and how important they are. |
