I read this today (Feb 1st) in the T. Austin Sparks devotional, Daily Open Windows, and thought to copy here. I was struck by the simple message: God has a purpose because of His love!

The reason I posted this Sparks piece is that the LC was so focused on God's purpose so exclusively, rather than His love. At least I don't remember hearing much about God's motivation and reason for doing it all . . . His infinite love for us.

Thanks for posting this. I like it. I often do focus on God having a mind and His awesome creating power, but forget the heart of love that is behind it.
