Come on in and make a dialogue of the Lords Recovery!
Ohio can you expand on your previous post.
Quote:
From my personal experience I would say this one thing about the ministry of Lee Lee Ministry- A of roundabout of bombastic and muddled Language with hardly any substance. Whether it’s the HWMR or the conference messages, it was always an endless circle of abiding in God, Oneness, Divine Life, be a God man, and be in spirit. It always centered around those main things and Lee in his writings just goes on these endless and loop of repeating the same thing over and over and just adding some words such as "intrinsic" and "organic" in each sentence. It sounds lofty and nice, but there was hardly any value or substance. Witness Lee avoided to teach about the "fruits" of the holy spirit. Lee avoided emphasizing or teaching about the nature of the very God he goes on tangents on abiding in. He knew exactly what he was doing. He frankly avoided going into depth on the nature of God and the fruits of his nature abiding in us. We were taught to just be dummies and be in a state of fabricated awe and mantra to distract us from realizing we were living far from a Godly life. There is much to Christ besides secluding yourself from society and sitting in meeting after meeting. But Lee never wanted us to truly live Christ but as many have said on this forum, live Lee. Lee was a man who cut himself off from society and loved to sit around in a bunch of meetings. He wanted to get and control people to do the very same thing, and when the word of God got in his way, he tried to attack it and forgo it. But the word of God will stand strong for days to come and his twisted ministry is crumbling day by day. Ill give you my made up example of an endless loop of bombastic and muddled language that has no substance to it. “We are anointed by the triune God, and we have his divine life abiding in us. We are abiding in God for God. The divine life is in us, and we are partakers of Gods economy. God wants man to be part of his economy and partake in his divine life. The divine seed is in us, and we are one with Christ and abide in him. We must be in spirit in everything we do and be consumed with the divine life and abide in God in everything we do. The divine seed is for us to enjoy him and to partake in him and to be the children of God. We are to enjoy Christ and abide in him and be one with the divine life. We are to be God in our life and nature and never separate from him. Let God kill our natural man and let us be saturated by the triune God and become him in life and nature." You see I literally said the same thing over and over. You hardly know anything about this “divine life” that you are abiding in other than its divine. You don’t know anything about what it means to partake in his divine nature or what the LR calls his economy. You don’t know anything about the God you are so trying to be and saturate yourself with and replace with your “fallen man”. With writing such as I demonstrated above, God is belittled to some unknown mystical figure with mysterious divinity. The Holy Bible gives much detail on the God we worship and abide in, he is not some unknown mystical figure with a mysterious and unknown divinity. Lee goes even farther and tries to degrade the characteristics and nature of God in order to maintain his own self reflected image that he wants everyone in the LR to bow down to. That is why the pure word of God is hated in the LR, the pure word destroys the plot of the enemy to pull people from the truth. Here is a sample from LSM just showing this roundabout bombastic muddled nonsense trying to push out to God to be this unknown mystical and mysteriously divine being. I got it from someone in another thread posting the “We must be Christ from Christ” comment. Lee, Life study of Joshua, Judges, Ruth: Gaining Christ for Christ In light of this, let us now consider what it means to gain Christ for Christ. Christ today is the good land given to us by God in a very rich way. Nevertheless, all the riches of Christ, all that Christ is, remain separate from most Christians. As the One on the throne in the heavens, Christ is strong and powerful, but we are weak. He is rich, but we are poor. Whereas Christ is strong, powerful, and rich, we are weak, impotent, and poor. The reason for this situation is that we have not endeavored to gain Christ. However, when we gain Christ, He becomes our experience. Then Christ becomes in us what He should be. This means that our gaining Christ is not only for our enjoyment but also for Christ to be what He should be. According to the New Testament revelation, Christ is perfect, complete, rich, and powerful. Furthermore, it is a fact that God has given such a Christ to us. Although He is wonderful, we are pitiful. If we see this, we will realize that there is a need for us to do something that will make Christ real to us and even to the unbelievers so that He will be what He should be. How can Christ be what He should be? Christ can be what He should be only by our gaining Him. If we gain Christ and experience Christ, Christ will become real to us. This is not only for us—it is also for Christ. This is to gain Christ for Christ. Our need today is to gain more of Christ, to possess more of Christ, and to experience more of Christ. Our gaining, possessing, and experiencing Christ will make Him real to us. This is not only for our enjoyment but also for Christ to be what He should be. At present, the Christ among us is much less than the Christ in the heavens. The Christ among us is different from the Christ in the heavens. This means that among us Christ is not yet what He should be. In order for Christ to be what He should be among us, we need to gain Him. The more we gain Christ, possess Christ, experience Christ, and enjoy Christ, the more He becomes among us what He should be. In this way our gaining of Christ is for Christ. We gain Christ for Christ so that He may have His corporate expression. This is to make the good land the land of Immanuel (Isa. 8:8). Lee ministry is full of this writing style of an endless loop of bombastic language that people are told to mindlessly follow and never question. Goes on and on about gaining Christ, and yet no substance of teachings regarding the very same God he constantly talks about. Frankly, Lee wanted LR members to be like him not God. Besides from abstaining from worldly pleasures, Lee and Jesus were nothing alike. Of course, they read the bible, but Lee ministry makes sure the “unappealing” portions of the bible are painted over with Lee ministry. Therefore, hardly anyone outside of the Lords Recovery takes Lee seriously and why Lee was so insecure and sued the crap out of anyone critiquing him. He must rely on subjugating a bunch of college grads to preserve his dying ministry and forcing them to conform to his ministry or else they are kicked out and gone. What a miserable ending to this man’s ministry and God is not mocked, you reap what you sow. Lee put himself in this situation and his followers suffer the consequences of his actions. |

Re: Come on in and make a dialogue of the Lords Recovery!
Actual basic dialog of two brothers speaking after a LC meeting – one a LC member and one a former LC member.
LC Bro: Welcome to our meeting! Are you from around here? Non-LC Bro: No we’re traveling and are in town a while. LC Bro: Have you been to a meeting like this before? Non-LC Bro: Yes, I used to meet with the LC in various places, and thought I’d stop by to praise the Lord with you all. LC Bro: How long are you here? Non-LC Bro: About a week, then we’re heading home. You know I have to tell you something that I’ve really been enjoying while traveling around the country, and that is meeting with different churches! LC Bro: Oh really!? Tell me more! Non-LC Bro: Well it is really so very good! Whenever I travel somewhere and want fellowship, I look around to see if there’s a Christian building nearby, and then I find out when they meet and just go there! Isn’t that really simple and practical?! LC Bro: <silence> Non-LC Bro: Yeah, I must admit it was a little difficult at first, as the functioning of all the members didn’t always seem very robust (like the LC meetings), but the Lord has taught me to just put aside any critique . . . which I found immediately shuts fellowship down . . . and simply enjoy Him in oneness with the saints wherever I am! Boy I could tell you of many stories where the Lord was just so rich when I’m practicing that! Have you ever tried it? LC Bro: Well, ah, no I haven’t . . . Non-LC Bro: Oh you really should! The Lord has opened up a wonderful enjoyment for me with all other believers in this way – because we’re of one Spirit in one body. I was so narrow before and shut myself off from this great experience of Christ’s oneness! We should be missing out on this! LC Bro: <silence> Non-LC Bro: Well it was nice being here and chatting with you! LC Bro: Sure . . . I better get going . . . |

Re: Come on in and make a dialogue of the Lords Recovery!
Christianity Brother (BC): "Are you a Christian, too?"
Recovered Brother (RB): "Yes, praise the Lord, I am!" BC: "Praise God! Good to meet another brother! Where do you go to church?" RB: "Amen. I am part of the church, I don't 'go to church.'" BC: "Oh, good point! I never thought of it like that. Yeah. Say, where do you meet?" RB: "I meet at [address] sometimes, other times I meet in homes." BC: "Oh, cool. What's the name of the [address] church?" RB: "It doesn't have a name. We're just Christians meeting like the Bible says to do -- together as one in [this city]. Sometimes we're called 'the church in [this city]." BC: "Wow...say that makes sense. What you have to do to become a member?" RB: "Well, if anyone is born again and in [this city], we believe they're already members!" BC: "Oh, wow! So...like, I'm born again and am in [this city], so am I a member?" RB: "Yes! You're a member!" BC: "Praise God! So, can I come to a meeting at [address]?" RB: "Sure you can! But...maybe we could get together in our homes, first, so you can get comfortable with us before attending the meeting for the first time." BC: "Uh...well, I don't think I'd have any problem joining a meeting...I have been to all kinds of different meetings, so if there's tongues or shouting, or a heavy liturgy, I'd be OK. I just like to meet Christians and praise God together." RB: "Well, I still kinda recommend getting together first. See, in the meetings at [address] we have the Lord's Table.." BC: *puzzled look* RB: "..that's 'communion'..." BC: "Oh!" *smiles* RB: "And then we all prophesy..." BC: *puzzled look* RB: ...that means, 'shares a word from the Lord'..." BC: "Oh, like everyone speaks?" RB: "Yeah - everyone speaks..." BC: "Wow! That's great!" RB: "But we share on what we've read that week, so if we meet together first we can prepare something." BC: "Man, that is amazing! I have been enjoying reading from James lately and..." RB: *looks offended* BC: "...uh...but...if you have a part of the Word you are reading I can read that, instead. What are you reading?" RB: "Well, several verses from various books of the Bible as presented in 'The Holy Word for Morning Revival,' along with ministry of Witness Lee." BC: "Wow. That's kinda specific. What if I just share from what I'm enjoying?" RB: "Well, our practice it to speak the same thing for the One Accord, so it would be better if we stuck to the Holy Word for Morning Revival." BC: ... RB: ... BC: "Hm. I might need to read up on that a little. Say... how about you come to my meeting at [Some Named Place]?" RB: "Oh, I can't do that. It would be dividing myself from the Body to meet in an exclusive place like a denomination." BC: ... RB: ... BC: "So...I can meet with you IF I limit myself to Holy Word...of .. Witness Lee, but you can't meet with me because I'm doing it wrong?" RB: "We're not the only church. We're ONLY the church." BC: "What?" RB: "God became man THAT man could become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead or as an object of worship" BC: "Are...are you OK?" RB: "The all-inclusive, compound, life-giving, indwelling Spirit of thr Processed Triune God liveth in me!" BC: *starts dialing 911* "Hello, 911? Someone is having a stroke!" |

Re: Come on in and make a dialogue of the Lords Recovery!
Recovery- Christ replaced our culture!
Non LR- What do you mean? Recovery- Christ has replaced our CULTURE! Non LR- Can you elaborate? Recovery- Christ is the center of everything and replaces everything. Non LR- Can you specify, you seem very vague. Christ is compatible with lots of cultures. Paul stressed for gentile converts not to stress over the legalistic demands of the Jewish Culture. Such Legalism has no impact on restraining fleshly indulgence. Recovery- Christ replaces our culture such as festivals and holidays! Non LR- Ummmmmmm, Im just going to be frank, do you try to pull people from engaging in various cultural things such as holidays, foods, and festivals? Recovery- CHRIST REPLACED OUR CULTURE! NON LR- So you literally do the opposite of what Paul you to do which was not judge on superficial and legalistic things such as festivals and food and drink......... Recovery- Christ replaces our culture Non LR- You keep mindlessly repeating the same thing and it just seems like a baseless and shallow phrase to just pull people away from that part of their life. Scripture is very clear not to be overly legalistic about these things. Romans 14 is very clear on leaving it up to the individual on whether he wants cherish one day over another. Recovery- CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE. ATTEND EVERY MEETING, CONFERENCE, AND TRAINING. PAY ALL YOUR "DONATIONS" AND PURCHASE THE MINISTRY MATERIAL. Non LR- Ahhhhh, so this empty phrase "Christ replaces our culture" is nothing more than some cop out to keep people inside the LR like some animal on a farm. Which in essence, you disobey and go against scripture regarding legalism in order to push fourth your cruel agenda. Recovery- CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE Non LR- Yeah, it seems I caused a screw to get loose........ I mean for a group that is obsessed with a mans facial hair, why am I surprise they try to regulate spending time on holidays.... Recovery- CHRIST REPLACES OUR CULTURE, OH LOOOOOOOOORD, LOOOOOOOOORD JESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUS, KILL OUR OPINION AND REPLACE OUR CULTURE, OH LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD, LOOOOOOOOOOOORD JESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUSSSSS Non LR- (Eyes wide open and wondering how a person reaches such a state, walks away and does not look back)...... |
