This is great, what you wrote. I would just add that how did
any of us transition out of the deception from truth? Painfully, mostly. Speaking for myself, it was a mess inside of me. For years. Everyone has a different story on that --- one of the best parts of this forum is sharing how that worked for each of us. I'm just not so sure that it would be any harder (or easier) for someone that had been an elder. Maybe. Different issues, I guess. Detoxing is never easy.
