I am so sorry for the way Mario and Dora were treated in particular by the brethren in San Diego and Vista. I knew Chris Nerstad and his wife very well. I knew Les Cites and his wife very well as well. They nurtured and mentored me when I first got saved in 1975. I was in the San Diego LC from 1975 - 1978/79.

I don’t know when Mario and Dora “touched” San Diego LC. I don’t remember them. I know like everyone here on the forum that are ex LCrs, “The Lord’s recovery” has made WL and to a lesser extent their god. They may still call on the Lord but it is vain repetition.

Another observation I have made, Les and Carolyn’s kids who are all adults were not in the LC when I last had contact with them in 2005. Chris Nerstad’s kids were teenagers in 2005 and the older son was going into the service, the other was getting ready for college. Their daughter was in high school but none of the kids had no interest in the LC. Do they now? I do not know. I heard the Nerstads moved to England a few years back for the LR.

I met another leading elder and his wife in my home town. They were elderly. Don’t even know if they are still alive but none of their adult kids had nothing to do with the LR or their parents.

This is so sad.

May the LORD heal Mario and Dora and shower them with His Love and Grace.
