Re: Thoughts, Questions, And Wanted Discussion On Local Churches
23. What are the details of this incident referred to by John Ingall and the testimony of other individuals?
- In the summer of 1987 I began to be concerned for the first time about some of the things taking place under the direction of the Living Stream Ministry Office. The things that were done and promoted in the high school training in Irving, Texas, in August 1987 greatly disturbed me, especially knowing that Philip Lee, the manager of the LSM office, was giving direct instructions and “fellowship” for the training’s execution
- What in the world happened at the high school training in Irving? What did they contaminate these innocent kids with? What was being promoted? I hope nothing too damaging beyond repair was done.
24. The sixteen points addressed at Anaheim by concerning ones of LC practices.
How many were accepted and reformed? Or perhaps all of them were rejected because from what I seen, the same issues are still present today...... All sixteen of those issues were not reformed at all and those problems will continue to spark "rEbElLIonS" in the local churches. The sixteen points remind me of the 95 thesis by Martin Luther and his efforts to reform the church. The funny thing was is that Martin Luther never originally wanted to break away from the catholic church and simply had troubles he took to heart with the church and sought "REFORM". John Ingalls and the men who supported him are like reformers and the LC is the big bad catholic church who loses their marbles when criticized because they are too holy and too good for rebuke. Honestly it is easy to bash the catholic church for all their issues in history, but if the Local churches had the size and time of existence of the Catholic church, they probably would be twice as bad. Look at the issues the LC has had just in America, within their short history.
There will be more and more rebellion's because they never accept reform and the Local churches I predict will have a split and division among different regions of the world (even with the US) that will be permanent. I think there will be a true reformation of the Local churches within the next lets say 50-100 years. Then the goals and sacrifice of reformers such as John and his supporters will be meet. Those sixteen points will be part of the reformation at hand, and the division of the Local churches will display the empty and fear led OnEnEsSSSS they had. Who will be the successful Martin Luther that will permanently be the dividing sword (Luke 12:51, Mark 10:34) of the Local Churches? There will be no peace for this church as they will constantly have reform efforts in the name of Christ.
