On one hand it helps me because I'm forced to look to see if my viewpoint still holds up under contention, but on the other hand, it gets pretty wearing to repeatedly encounter what seems like disingenuous responses to what I write very much in earnest.
I guess I respond for the anonymous reader who might get turned astray by his comments. My own patience is wearing thin though too.
