Sure. Separate would imply different beings, entities or objects, in the way that you and I as humans are different objects or beings. We are different instances of a kind, in the way that different triangles are instances of the property of triangularity.
The three divine persons are not separate instances of the kind "God." The three persons are each fully the one deity, the one God. They are distinguished by distinct hypostatic properties or personal properties-The Father generates, the Son is begotten and the Spirit proceeds.
