Some of these kids would be greatly benefited by some public caning, like they did in Singapore to that brat who vandalized cars. Remember how Pres. Clinton even got involved? We were supposedly a more "advanced" country who would never do such a thing. Under Clinton, America over-reacted to Singapore's strict laws.
Two other things also happened about the same time. Corporal punishment ( aka spanking) became basically outlawed in schools and in homes, to be replaced by an ineffective " time out," which has now been replaced by the more worthless practice of " redirecting." |
2018- when I was part of a Facebook group I recall the negative reaction I got over spanking. My goodness. How unglued people get over discipline.
Must be reflective to their LC childhood. Someone must have made cedar paddles for their parents.
