Wow, did I get a lot more than I bargained for on that one! Thanks Ohio.

You do realize we're on the main forum here and not Alt Views? Half the posters here don't believe in the virgin birth or the death and resurrection? You must be thinking of the wrong forum!

Very interesting theological concept. Can you point us to any NT verses that would be illustrative of this concept? For bonus points you might even point us to some of the earliest Christian teachers/apologists (church fathers et al) or even teachers down through the ages who taught this notion that "the humanity of Jesus was added to the Spirit". I don't believe that Watchman Nee taught such a thing, but maybe I missed it. Of course I heard Lee with my own two ears teach this concept many times. Not quite sure were it would be in the printed messages. (Maybe in L.S. of John?)

I really appreciate you "resurrecting" this thread Raptor. I think this is one of the most important subjects we could discuss on this forum. I hope we can spend a little time "reasoning together" with the aid of the Scriptures and even the guiding truth provided by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not just "the Spirit of life", or even "the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead", he is also "the Spirit of Truth" who is always ready and willing to guide us into all truth. Sometimes our job is to get the heck out of the way and let him do the guiding.
