Libertarian party represents that which the Democratic party used to, but no longer does......Civil Liberties. It's only due to lack of advertising dollars does it appear the Libertarian party doesn't have any traction, Yet really, they should be attracting those who have been lifelong Democrats.
Today many affiliated with the Democratic party system are truly fascists. They want to get rid of the 1st and 2nd Amendment for starters if not the entire Constitution. Control over free speech and right to bear arms will enable them to impose their will and run roughshod over all people. There is one word that describes their "rule with mobs, intimidation, and group imposed mentality" and that is entitlement. They are like undisciplined spoiled children. If they don't get their way, a temper tantrum will follow. which is destructive behavior.
