I confirm what Ohio said above. I was in NYC and starting college. I was looking forward to having other LC Christians on my campus to fellowship with. Then Boston happened and the LC Christian population went from 6-8 down to 2. It still bugs me today when an Christian says you have to go to a certain place to experience more of God. Although He can start somewhere I disagree with other places being abandoned because of it! My memory though although I could be wrong was that it started a little earlier than '78. Maybe '77 or '76.
