BJB, I love those verses in
Acts 17 which Paul spoke to the Athenians.
And yes, the eternal, only begotten Son of God is now, and will ever be
a MAN! Yes, He is! I have repeatedly acknowledged this. There is no dispute here.
And yes, on this matter, contrary to your teachings, Acts and the Gospel of John exactly coincide: "
For the Father does not judge anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son." (John 5.22)
And yes, Jesus Christ is a man, now resurrected with a spiritual body. But where is that verse that says Jesus stopped being God when both He and the apostles clearly identified Him as a man?
And have you not also read Acts 20.28 where Paul exhorts the elders, "
to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased through His own blood."
The glaring problem which you seem to have is that your mind can not comprehend how Jesus can be both God and man. You just need more faith. Yes, the N.T. does emphasize the humanity of the Son of God. But where is that verse that says Jesus is not God?
