I don't know that you were not obeying the government. I was responding to what you said about an apparent transgender government official, and possibly not wishing to comply with them.
So if the government comes for our guns, should we give them? As much as I want to rise up to loudly say "NO!", since it's clearly my constitutional right to own guns,
is this something that is going hurt my Christian testimony? In this case there would likely be many unbelievers who also would resist giving up their guns, but nothing of Christ is testified there, right?
Now when Peter and the others were told not to preach Jesus, they didn't comply, because this was a testimony thing. And in this case God's will was specifically different and higher than man's government.
