But here's the long view I think: In the end, there must be no accusation that can stand against us, because He died in our place. And in this is love on full display. Plus Christ said he laid down His own life - no one took it from Him. It was an act of free will, born out of His love for mankind. For "the joy set before Him" He willingly sacrificed Himself for us that we might be the righteousness of God in Christ, and that He could become our supplied life! Oh hallelujah what an awesome love mystery this all is!!!
