Re: Two more new believers in Christ Jesus
Dear Believers in Christ Jesus,
Tonight two more of the Bhutanese Refugees joined the family of God.
Tonight at the gospel friends gathering in my home there were about 20 of the Bhutanese. About half were believers, some who have become believers right in my living room and some who were believers when they arrived in Durham from the UN camp in Nepal.
Normally there are a few Americans and a few Chinese at these gathering but tonight only Sheryl, I and one American brother were in attendance. So the Bhutanese gathered in a tight circle sitting on the rug in the center of the room. We had the meeting so to speak “Bhutanese style.”
After I shared a brief gospel word three of the Bhutanese and one sister shared, urged and compelled that the non-believers repent of their false gods and receive the one true God, Jesus Christ, the One and Only Way.
A lady and her 15 years old daughter knelt and prayed strongly to receive Jesus as their Savior, Lord and only true God.
This morning 35 crowed into the great room where we assemble. There was a beautiful bouquet of different races who were now in the One New Man. We also had four who were on the way to becoming believers.
We sang a song written by my daughter-in-law, “You are Faithful.” One of the lines goes: “Though my life, through each day You’ve been there though I stray. Thank You Lord, You’ve been faithful to me.”
Another line states: “Through each age You have shown how Your plan for Your own You’ll fulfill, for You’re faithful, Oh Lord.”
As we sang, prayed, testified and rejoiced it seemed the Lord was speaking that song directly to my heart.
