Aha, you passed right by our house, although in June last year we were still plotting how to get out of Washington, and away from the people who were instrumental in opening my eyes to the real practices of the LCers. I am so thankful the veil slipped. I credit the Lord with leading us out, then away. How merciful is He toward us. He allowed me to see 'bad fruit' in behaviors, then, He opened up the way for us to relocate, then He arranged the sale of our property, all to bless our broken hearts. Unfortunately for the state of WA, hereafter if anyone asks what it is like there, my response is 'too culty'. Lol. Not the entire state, I know. I know your family met around Seattle, Tacoma area?
