Is it any wonder that we hate the flesh?

I mentioned that we've had a good deal of discussion around the flesh in my men's fellowships. Last week someone shared this thought (they said it had been around awhile): "When I'm going up to meet the Lord and my flesh is falling away . . . as it sinks out of sight I will speak to it and say,
'Thanks for escorting me to Christ all these years!'" So maybe we can say it's kind of a love/hate thing we have with the flesh!
