I've seen this name in various forms all over the internet. I have concluded that it is Stuart
Townend (no "s"). Many of his songs are written in conjunction with Keith and Kristen Getty, including another posted here, "In Christ Alone." Together they are one of the better writers of modern hymns. More than just feel good music or pop-Christian music.
