It seems to me that leadership and members/ex-members are at a standoff regarding this.
If you expect leadership to pull the trigger first, doesn't that just mean you're at risk of the one being shot?
The point is if you expect and pressure leadership to repent they may do so eventually but only in false humility as to save face and make you look bad.
You can't force repentance. If you try you'll only get an unsatisfactory response at best.
So first, be sure you're in right standing with God. Then, speak your peace with righteous judgment. But also find the strength in Christ to move on and continue to pray for your enemies in faith that God will know best on how to deal with the matter going forward otherwise you risk falling into a cycle of endless bitterness.
