It is correct that Jim Moran's website ( www.thelocalchurch.org) was taken down on 2003.
On a separate note, I came across and amazing internet tool called the wayback machine. You can go to https://web.archive.org , type in the name of the website and view archived pages of all kinds of websites (ones that still exist and ones that no longer exist).
[If I could only think of a way to use this wonderful resource...]
