Hello again dear ones, beloved of God,

Praise Him for a third time of very sweet mutual fellowship centered on His Word!

The burden in this third meeting was our responsibility, as believers, to proclaim the good news. I really appreciated the spirit of the fellowship in this meeting. The focus was still on "a new and living way"; as opposed to the old way of "dead letters". We were not putting each other under a legal requirement to preach the gospel; rather, our eyes were really opened to see the Power that comes with the speaking of God's Word! We saw clearly that our responsibility is to simply sow a simple seed of the Word of God with people, and then let the Power that is in the Word operate. Like the parable in the Gospel of Mark says, a man sowed some seed and then he went to lie down! When he arose, the seed had sprouted. How this sprouting took place, the man knew not. Dear ones, the Power is in the message, not in the messenger!!

By sharing just a little bit of the Word of God with others, the faith they lack actually comes with the message we speak! "So faith comes from hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ."

Without saying too much about dear brother Hope, I really do appreciate the humble, unassuming, way in which he moderates the fellowship. This has really helped to bring in such a sweet spirit of initimacy amongst all of us dear ones in the meetings! Hallejah!!
