It is one thing to determine that certain teachings may not be the best. Or that they may not be so inspired.
But when the writer is stated as having contributed bad fruit, there probably needs to be some rethinking.
As I recall, it is stated that a spring (or well) cannot bring forth both good and bad water. It is either all good or all bad.
So if you are seeing bad things issuing from the well or spring, it is time to question everything coming out of it.
