Very true. I remember in Houston I stayed with a brother who lived in an apartment complex directly across the street. We often would show up to the Sunday morning meeting 30 minutes late or even more. People looked at him like a misfit. What they did not know and what he never once told them is that we usually were up by 5, drove two hours out of Houston to go pick up a gospel contact that he had preached the gospel to that week to bring them to the meeting. Often we would have to wait around for 30 minutes for this one to get dressed, go pick them up some breakfast and then would arrive late to the meeting. The looks never bothered me. Since this was all I knew of the Lord's Recovery I figured many others were doing the same.
