OBW,

But it wasn't written toward you, was it? It was written toward me. Your intention may not have been to make a rude accusation, but you should consider those of us on the receiving end of your poor choice of words.

For example, I don't take offense at everything and you know that. Poor choice of words? Exaggeration? Perhaps your accusation of me ignoring evidence was also an exaggeration. Choosing your words more carefully would help the communication process. You called me out and I gave it right back to you.

Regardless, you could have said something like..."Sorry, Nell. What I mean is...."

You may not have seen it at the time. And at the time I did not see it as much as that incident would have revealed, but I could see it at least a little. Maybe in your neck of the woods at the time (People's Republic of Texas? ) it was not so evident. I have no way of knowing. I do know that BP was always on the move. Often out of town somewhere. Of course they wouldn't be telling me where.

When JB moved to OKC, I sort of thought there would be a new top dog, but that didn't even seem to be true. From what I could see, it was always BP.
Maybe it "should have been evidence enough" but you imply that there was some kind of willful ignorance on my part. That is not the case.

I totally agree with you now that BP was the man. Not when it was happening. At the time all that was happening, I didn't know there was an undercurrent. I wasn't suspicious. I didn't ask questions...my bad. It was years before my eyes were open to all the things that you mention. Does that mean I willfully ignored evidence? No. It was simply my perspective at the time it occurred. I was wrong, big time.
