As for your question - well, that's probably one of THE most controversial questions asked in Christian Theological circles around the world .....

I was merely curious to see if you had discussed this topic in your fellowship group. Truth be told... God is ultimately the JUDGE. Our business is to be ambassadors and representatives of the Good News of Salvation. The way I go about it is by praying for our brethren and for unbelievers. I do my utmost to encourage the downtrodden in Christ, who are weak, backslidden, etc..giving them HOPE. As the Holy Spirit leads, I disciple them in the Word so they too can be filled with the Spirit of Joy, Peace and experience deliverance. In turn, they can share with others how they were once downtrodden but the LORD lifted them up. I ask the LORD to open my understanding where I lack it.
So in the end.. I don't concern myself whether a person can lose their salvation or not. I never 'warn' anyone of that for as long as we are here, it is our responsibility to point and lead people to their Savior and Deliverer- Jesus.
There truly is power, power wonder working power in repentance & the Blood of the Lamb.

I can personally testify that He did it in my own life. I made a confession with a repentant heart when I was a teenager, but I walked a dark road (drugs, drinking, illicit sex) and even denied His name for many years. I didn't come back to Him because of any merit of my own. The truth is, even when I told Him I wanted nothing to do with Him (in very graphic terms) and I didn't believe in Him any longer, He never let me go. He brought me back to Himself, using some pretty painful tools to get me there... and thank You Lord that You did!
Our God is an Awesome God, isn't He Carol?
