I think also of Cornelius the Roman soldier. The angel told him, "Your prayers and gifts have come up as a memorial before God." (Acts 10:4). It's probably noteworthy that God revealed Himself in Jesus Christ to a "righteous gentile", which we may think cannot possibly exist.

Of course, the angel didn't say, "Your prayers and gifts are sufficient; you don't need the truth." No, he told him to send for Simon Peter in Joppa, and to listen to what Peter had to say. But this man's righteous living before God, apart from cognitive knowledge about Jesus Christ, played a rather significant role in the narrative.

I agree with "it's a mystery", and "the devil loves it when people think they have the answers", but the "ignorance is holy" part I would change. I'd rather say that acknowledging ignorance is part of our path toward (God's) holiness. Maybe that is what you mean, but your phrasing might lead to something like, "Let us sin, that grace may abound".
