Another hint is this: since angel was placed to guard the garden, I assume that man at that time was able to see angels. I think that this ability was somehow lost later, probably with the development of sin. Pember has an interesting thought that Garden was actually a tabernacle, and that Adam, even being cast out of the garden, still worshiped the Lord in front of the gates of the garden for some time.
